Copycats: Beware or A real boon for Publisher

Every now and then, we fear about our right in this world. So I thought if there is any protection for publisher for his content on website. We publisher do hard work of writing and if anyone steels your data and just simply paste it in his website, we feel sorry but can not do anything about it. While searchi8ng for copyright protection I came across one service called “Copyscap”. It’s not free to use but you can get the idea how powerful it is. Copyscap uses their genius technology to track your content and to track where they are reproduced as it is. So you can just hit that stealer’s website and ask him about his behavior. And at the end of the day, you will be happier as you can sleep well because your data is safe with “Copyscap”.

Mobile Versions for the Major Search Engines

I rarely do a search on my mobile phone, but when it happens, I want simple information. All the major search engines have a mobile version, so I decided to compare them.

TGoogle ( google.com on your phone, google.com/xhtml on your computer)

Google offers links to Gmail, Personalized Homepage and Google News and has mobile versions for web search, image search, local search, mobile and news search. Unlike the standard Google search, the mobile optimized version shows smaller snippets, adds numbers in front of the search results so you can use it as shortcuts, and renders the pages using a transcoder.

Windows Live ( mobile.live.com/Portal )

Microsoft shows you information about weather, stock quotes and news. Instead of showing more types of searches, Windows Live has an universal search that groups web search, local search, news search and Space search (Microsoft decided to search only the blogs created on its platform). The result page shows you at most 2 results from each type of search, even if a search for "flowers" shouldn't trigger news results.

Yahoo ( wap.oa.yahoo.com )

Yahoo lists a lot of links on its homepage, including a link to Yahoo Search. Here you can find local search, image search and web search (in this order). Yahoo shows fewer search results and combines searching web pages with mobile web pages. When you click on a search result you get a warning that says "External web pages may not work with your phone" and this is quite true.

Ask.com ( m.ask.com )

Ask shows links to its services, including its various search types. While featuring fewer search results than Google, Ask shows options that can help you expand or narrow your query and more OneBox results at the top of the page. Ask also shows numbers next to the search results and has shortcuts. Ask is also the only search engine (from the four analyzed here) that includes a mobile version for blog search.

Google and Ask.com have the most easy to use mobile versions for their search engines. Google has the best search results, but Ask has many smart answers that can help you a lot.

Google Total: A better experience of Google search

Ever thought of searching with Google in different way OR wished that all Google services such as Answer it, Ask me, Images, Alerts, etc. to be available at a single click. Goggle Total provides the solution. Now let’s see what is Google Total is all about. Google Total is not new kind of service that Google™ is going to offer in future. Anil has created it and getting popularity day by day.

The interesting services I found about it are:

1. Definitely new look and faster loading ( boon for dial-up users)
2. Relatively faster
3. Ability to search two things simultaneously.

Example: You can search for Mona Lisa’s pictures and her history simultaneously. Isn’t great!

Google Search History Records

Google Search History records the queries and the search results you've clicked on. How would you use this service? It is yet another Google new features. For using this services all 
you have to do , just login to google account and rest leave to Google.  


1. Search History Trends tells you statistical information about your Google searhes. For example, you can monitor your daily search activity.



2. Google Recommendations is a gadget that lists searches, web pages and gadgets recommended for you.



3. Browse the Search History and bookmark interesting sites. Just click on the small star next to search result.



4. Find how often you search for something.



5. If you know you visited a sited found using a Google search, you can use the Search History to find it.



6. Go to a certain day in Google Search History to see what searches you performed that day. It's like going back in time.



7. How many times did you visit a site from Google search and when was the last time? Search its web address and you'll see the answers next to the title.





8. Grab a feed of your latest queries: https://www.google.com/searchhistory/?output=rss. Note that your feed reader needs to support SSL.



9. If you search for sensitive information or you don't want to include certain queries in Search History, either pause Search History, or remove the sensitive queries and search results.



10. Google Desktop extends this concept of history to all the websites you visited in your browser, but you are able to search this history only from your computer or from all your computers if you enable Search Across Computers.

Bug In GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE I got This while searching for the article

Is it a bug? I dont think so.

Just look at the URL.. Its starts with a sorry .

                      Well that's true, Google Co-OP now support the Custom Serch Engine for your webpage. It's just like the adsense but it's free , and does not reuire any adsense account for the Serach bar.
             I found it a very good because it's give you to try for lot's of option and well I am going to have it very soon.
